Nice to meet you, I'm Cato

I'm a passionate game designer currently in my final year at Howest - Digitals arts & Entertainment, where improving my skills to create fun, meaningful and memorable games.

I've played games since I was young, and the moment I discovered that I could make them myself, I was all in. I have a love for narrative-driven games, they're in my opinion the best way to tell a story, because you don't just watch the events, you live them.

Of course, I don't shy away from other genres, I've already made and brainstormed lots of games within a wide range of genres, from platformers to puzzle to detective games and more. I can't wait to see what different types of worlds and mechanics I can bring to life!
For me, one of the best feelings is watching people enjoy a game I helped create.

In addition to design, I'm also skilled in project management, being able to keep the project's progress on schedule and maintain clear communication.

SKILLS

Level design

I'm able to design various levels on paper, test and iterate them in Unity to create engaging and immersing gameplay. I also incorporate my ideas in existing levels.

I document and refine my ideas, communicate with the team and present my work on time.
